The businessman vanished last week, leaving former glamour model Katie, 47, and her husband's family frantically searching for him.The Foreign Office also confirmed they are helping the family after a missing persons report was filed. But despite the radio silence amid claims of a kidnapping, it's reported Lee has been using his device - just not to Katie.The mum-of-five has shared the last messages she received from Lee which seemed to say he had been arrested, before changing to detained. He claimed to have taken to a ‘black site’, but the Criminal Investigation Department in Dubai confirmed no one by his name has been detained.Now, it's claimed the self-proclaimed millionaire, 43, has been active on his mobile phone, despite seemingly being taken. According to The Sun, Lee checked his WhatsApp messages at 5.56pm on Saturday, days after he last contacted Katie.Katie previously said neither she, nor Lee’s family, had heard anything more from him. She said: "His dad’s out in Dubai, he has heard nothing and the rest of his family’s in the UK."And obviously me, we have reported him to the British embassy as a missing person. He’s been reported in Dubai as a missing person. The last time, you know, I heard from him, as I said before, was Wednesday. At 10 o’clock I’ve been reading his last few messages and then I’ve heard nothing. My anxiety levels are sky high.”Despite Katie's public announcements, he efforts are said to be annoying Lee's family. A family friend who grew up with Lee and his sister in Edwinstowe, Nottinghamshire, said that Kelly is leading the family. Pal Rebecca claimed it is Kelly who is communicating with Katie and the police.Speaking to the Daily Mail, Rebecca explained: "She is trying to take the strain off her mother, Trisha, and I'm trying to support both of them through this worrying time. Kelly wasn't happy with the video Katie put out about him being kidnapped. That blew everything up, and it was unnecessary."The comments come after Lee's mum seemingly took a swipe at Katie on Facebook. One of Trisha's followers commented underneath a post promoting her psychic night, saying: "Think everyone needs to leave her [Trisha] alone as she's not responsible for Price's drama-queen antics."Trisha appeared to agree, responding: "Thank you Jane it's Katy exployting and I get all the backlash [sic]."Article continues belowDespite the comments, Katie denies claims that Lee's disappearance is a publicity stunt.
