Right-of-way acquisition for Angeles segment of NSCR now at 90%

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Transportation (DOTr) had already acquired 90% of right-of-way (ROW) for the whole segment of Angeles, Pampanga, under the North-South Commuter Railway (NSCR) project, the agency said on Wednesday.

With this, Transport Sec. Giovanni Lopez shared that the agency will coordinate with the local government unit of Angeles City to fast-track the remaining acquisition.

“Our right-of-way (acquisition) is at 90 percent. So, at least we can see the progress of this project. We talked to contractor Italthai earlier and we told them that we need this by 2028. That’s the agreement,” Lopez said in a press release.
