Despite the cancellation of the Kinshasa stage, the team's scheduled World Cup warm-up matches against Denmark in Belgium and Chile in Spain will proceed as planned. Most of Congo's players and their French coach are based outside the central African country, with team staff currently in Congo set to depart shortly.
