Sivaganga district, which recorded a pass percentage of 97.54, stood second in the Class X Board Examination in the State ranking as per the results released by the School Education Department on Wednesday. In the Government Schools pass percentage Sivaganga district stood first in the State ranking.A total of 17,868 students (9,050 girls and 8,818 boys) took the board examinations. Out of the total students, 17,429 students (8,927 girls and 8,502 boys) passed the Board examinations. As many as 155 out of 282 schools in the district achieved 100% pass.RamanathapuramRamanathapuram district recorded a pass percentage of 97.28 and stood sixth in the State ranking. A total of 16,595 students (8513 girls and 8082 boys) took the board examinations. Out of the total students, 16,143 students (8,397 girls and 7,746 boys) passed the Board examinations. As many as 146 out of 260 schools in the district achieved 100% pass.TheniTheni district recorded a pass percentage of 96.15 and stood 12th in the State ranking. A total of 13,962 students (7,031 girls and 6,931 boys) took the board examinations. Out of the total students, 13,424 students (6,858 girls and 6,566 boys) passed the Board examinations. As many as 101 out of 200 schools in the district achieved 100% pass.DindigulDindigul district recorded a pass percentage of 96.08 and stood 13th in the State ranking. A total of 23,853 students (12,094 girls and 11,759 boys) took the board examinations. Out of the total students, 22,918 students (11,786 girls and 11,132 boys) passed the Board examinations. As many as 160 out of 349 schools in the district achieved 100% pass.VirudhunagarVirudhunagar district recorded a pass percentage of 96.02 and stood 14th in the State ranking. A total of 24,134 students (12,363 girls and 11,771 boys) took the board examinations. Out of the total students, 23,173 students (12,109 girls and 11,064 boys) passed the Board examinations.
