The district recorded an overall pass percentage of 94.21 in the Class 10 examination, the results of which were declared on Wednesday (May 20, 2026). The district ranked 22nd among all districts in the State in terms of pass percentage.Of the 40,423 students (20,333 boys and 20,090 girls) who appeared for the examination, 18,755 boys and 19,326 girls passed. The overall pass percentage among boys and girls stood at 92.24 and 96.20 respectively. Of the 518 schools in the district, 188 recorded centum results.The overall pass percentage of government schools stood at 92.77. Of the 296 government schools in the district, 69 recorded centum results. The pass percentage among boys and girls stood at 90.15 and 95.14 respectively.Namakkal district recorded an overall pass percentage of 96.01 and ranked 15th among all districts in the State. Of the 18,412 students who appeared for the examination, 17,677 cleared it. Of the 292 schools in the district, 122 recorded centum results. The pass percentage of government schools stood at 94.39.
