The 63rd annual flower show in Bryant Park in Kodaikanal was inaugurated by Dindigul Collector S. Saravanan. The flower show will be held from May 20 to 31. Over 6,00,000 flowers are on display at the event which attracts thousands of tourists from far and near.The highlight of the inaugural day was the floral arrangements showcasing Tamil Nadu’s rich tradition, culture, and natural beauty. These included Pamban bridge, Jallikattu, and Brihadeeswarar temple.Vegetable carvings highlighting the specialties of Dindigul district were also on display. These included Slender Loris, Chinnalapatti Sungudi saris, Nilakottai Jasmine flowers, and Dindigul Biryani. Tourists, particularly children, were captivated by a butterfly-themed entrance arch.
