Bardella said he had some "points of ideological agreement" with Germany's conservative Chancellor
A co-leader of the Alternative for Germany (AfD) on Wednesday hit out at France’s National Rally (RN) head Jordan Bardella, the latest sign of the distance between the two far-right parties.
On Tuesday, Bardella said he had some “points of ideological agreement” with Germany’s conservative Chancellor Friedrich Merz, particularly on immigration.
That prompted AfD co-leader Tino Chrupalla to say that “Mr Bardella should become president first”.
