Bayelsa-East Senatorial Seat: Incumbent Senator Benson Agadaga Loses APC Re-Election Bid

Mr Agadaga scored 414 votes, while another aspirant, Mr Amalayon Yuosuo, polled 2,959 votes.

Mr Benson Agadaga has lost his bid for re-election as the Senator representing Bayelsa East Senatorial District in the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election, which concluded on Monday.

He was defeated by Mr Israel Sunny-Goli, a former member of the House of Representatives, who polled over 76,725 votes across Brass, Nembe, and Ogbia Local Government Areas.

Mr Agadaga scored 414 votes, while another aspirant, Mr Amalayon Yuosuo, polled 2,959 votes.
