MANILA, Philippines — The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) has information on where Sen. Robin Padilla’s vehicle went after leaving the Senate shortly following the shooting incident there last week.
According to the Philippine National Police (PNP) in an earlier Palace briefing, the vehicle — which was registered to Padilla — was carrying Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court (ICC) in connection with President Rodrigo Duterte’s bloody war on drugs.
Asked where Padilla’s car was going, CIDG director Maj. Gen. Robert Alexander Morico II told reporters in Camp Crame on Wednesday, “I can say that we know where it was going.”
