Sir, – Once again, the Irish Government and the EU have proven themselves to be spineless for doing nothing and taking no action against the Israeli government who continue to break international law, disregard UN resolutions and engage openly in piracy and kidnapping in international waters contrary to maritime laws, treaties and agreements.Ireland’s response is particularly meaningless and weak, with predictable limp statements from Ministers calling for Israel to “obey” international law.Where is is the Irish Government taking a case against Israel for blatant breaches of international law?
