Coca-Cola HBC is embarking on a new round of investments in Greece, further strengthening its manufacturing and supply chain footprint in the country.Speaking from the Coca-Cola plant in Schimatari, the Group CEO Zoran Bogdanovic announced new investment plans totaling several tens of millions of euros. The group inaugurated a new PET production line in Schimatari, representing a 20-million-euro investment, while also unveiling plans for a new logistics center in Athens with a budget of 31 million euros to be completed in 2028.Following these latest initiatives, Coca-Cola HBC’s total investment plan in Greece over the next five years will reach 180 million euros.The inauguration ceremony for the new production line was attended by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, who described Greece as a country that “innovates and moves forward with confidence,” while emphasizing the government’s ambition for industry to play a leading role in driving economic growth.For his part, Group Chairman Anastasios David reaffirmed the company’s commitment to continued investment in the country, noting that “no matter how far we travel, our heart remains in Greece.”
