At the end of the call, Leslie is seen in a quick blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment, telling her daughter, “I love you, Rue.”It’s obvious that King was expecting much more from the episode she had been promoting online all week, based on an Instagram video she posted afterward.“My mom is clowning me,” King said while laughing. “She said the internet waited all this time just for me to say one line.”“Y’all, I can’t do nothing but laugh,” she added, still cackling. According to Variety, actors have already been auditioning over the past several weeks.“While we don’t plan to comment on specific details during the casting process,” Amazon MGM Studios said in a statement, “we’re excited to share more news with 007 fans as soon as the time is right.”Leading the effort alongside the studio is “Game of Thrones” casting director Nina Gold, who will help select Daniel Craig’s successor. But Parker also revealed a tactic that she didn't love in the first season of the HBO series. In Season 1, the characters often directly addressed the camera in short monologues.“[It was] very hard for me,” she said. “And I think in particular the talking to the camera for me felt really problematic because I think, as I said at the time, it’s extremely hard to do well.”Davis also said the direct-to-camera moments were "stressful.""It was very strange because you had to take yourself out of the scene and talk to a mystery person in the camera, but yet you were talking to yourself," Davis said.Eventually, Parker took her concerns to executive producer Michael Patrick King.“So I think my argument at the time was, ‘I think it’s hurting what you’re really trying to do, which is the thing that matters most to you,’ ” Parker said. “‘And I don’t think I’m doing it well, which is also problematic, and it’s not gonna be good.
