Kemp, is currently one of the top shows on Netflix, according to the platform’s public ranking system.Set in Los Angeles, the eight-episode series centers on the heated rivalry between a master thief and a grudge-holding detective, who becomes obsessed with taking the former down after a string of bold robberies in the city. The show is led by Matthew Law and Y'lan Noel, and also stars Gabrielle Dennis, Cleopatra Coleman, Cedric Joe, Moe Irvin, Ariana Guerra, Sophina Brown, Tre Hale and Quincy Isaiah.“Nemesis” hit No. 1 on Netflix within days of its May 14 premiere and currently has a 90% Rotten Tomatoes score from critics — though viewers seem less impressed, judging by the show's much lower audience score.Read more at Forbes:Latest Live Updates‘Glad I’ve Got Thick Skin’: Actor Makes Long-Awaited Return On ‘Euphoria’ … Only To Say 1 Line“Euphoria” may have just set a new record this week for the shortest onscreen cameo.Nika King, who plays Rue’s (Zendaya) mother Leslie in the HBO drama, finally returned in the latter half of Season 3, though in a much more limited capacity than she — or fans — anticipated. In Episode 6, Leslie appears for only a few seconds in a scene where Rue is on the phone with her estranged mother while sitting in a church. At the end of the call, Leslie is seen in a quick blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment, telling her daughter, “I love you, Rue.”It’s obvious that King was expecting much more from the episode she had been promoting online all week, based on an Instagram video she posted afterward.“My mom is clowning me,” King said while laughing. “She said the internet waited all this time just for me to say one line.”“Y’all, I can’t do nothing but laugh,” she added, still cackling. Who needs enemies when you have a mother like this?”King has previously been open about her frustrations with her role on “Euphoria.” Back in 2024, she went viral after posting a stand-up clip in which she joked about being tired of fans constantly asking about the show’s delayed third season and her involvement in it.“‘We need season 3!’” King said, mimicking fans. "Bitch, I need season 3 — I haven’t paid my rent in six months.”For now, it appears King isn’t set to return in any more episodes this season, though she’s trying to take the situation in stride.“You better be glad I have a sense of humor,” she said in her Instagram video. “You better be glad I got thick skin.”Watch the clip in full below.'Game Of Thrones' Casting Pro Is On The Hunt For The Next James BondAt long last, the hunt for the next James Bond is finally on.On Thursday, Amazon MGM Studios announced that casting for the iconic 007 role is currently underway. Craig portrayed Bond in “Casino Royale,” “Quantum of Solace,” “Skyfall,” “Spectre” and “No Time to Die,” his final outing as the legendary super-spy.The upcoming Bond film will be directed by “Dune” filmmaker Denis Villeneuve, with Steven Knight writing the screenplay.Read more at Variety.Lupita Nyong'o Will Play Helen Of Troy In ‘The Odyssey’ — And Elon Musk’s Reaction Was Exactly What You’d Expect"The Odyssey" will make its way to theaters this July, with Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o starring as Helen of Troy. The film features a star-studded cast including Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson and Zendaya.Conservative political commentator Matt Walsh took issue with Nyong'o's casting in a few posts on X.“We’re told that we shouldn’t object to Helen of Troy being portrayed as a black woman," Walsh said on Wednesday. "And yet if a major Hollywood studio made a film set in Africa and cast a white woman as ‘the most beautiful woman in Africa,’ those same people would literally riot in the street. If, say, Sydney Sweeney was cast in the role, they’d be driven to murderous violence. We all know this is the case."Elon Musk, who quickly agreed with Walsh's similar posts from Tuesday, chimed in again: “Absolutely true. Such hypocrisy in Hollywood.”Musk has weighed in on "The Odyssey" since at least January. He called Elliot Page's potential casting as Achilles "the dumbest and most twisted things I've heard." Musk also tweeted that "Chris Nolan has lost his integrity" in late January when it was first rumored that Nyong'o would star in the film.A rep for Universal Entertainment, which is releasing the film, declined to comment to The Hollywood Reporter on Musk's comments about the film. Nyong'o also didn't respond for comment.Read more on The Hollywood Reporter.‘The Pitt’ Cast Imagines What Will Happen In Season 3 — And These Plot Twists Are W-I-L-DProduction for Season 3 of “The Pitt” is nearly underway, and fans can’t wait to return to their favorite ER drama. In the meantime, the cast shared a few funny plot predictions in a video posted on HBO Max’s Instagram page on Wednesday captioned, “Wrong answers only.”As expected, their ideas were wildly absurd.Isa Briones, who plays Dr. Santos, jokingly suggested Season 3 could turn into a bizarre spin-off “where it’s just Santos and Whitaker at home, cooking dinners, cooking breakfast, but then they do a bank heist.” Other faces from the hospital might show up too, she added, but “not Langdon.”Meanwhile, Katherine LaNasa, who plays nurse Dana, teased a “deep dive” into the romance that’s apparently going on between her character and Gerran Howell’s Whitaker.“It’s been building. It’s secretive. It’s hot and heavy,” she teased with a smile. “It’s like the stuff that rom-coms are made of.”However, fans may be most intrigued to hear Taylor Dearden’s suggestion: “I think that Robby and Abbot finally hook up.”“It’s been a long time coming,” the actor, who plays Dr. Mel, joked. “We know the fans want it. We want it, personally. And I think it’s about damn time.”The Rabbot shippers would probably be thrilled to see that play out next season — especially if we end up with 18 episodes, as Noah Wyle teased in the hilarious clip.Watch it below.Bryan Cranston Teases His Shocking Scene With Madonna For Upcoming Season Of ‘The Studio’Bryan Cranston just teased a major moment from the upcoming season of Apple TV's "The Studio." In the series, which stars and was created by Seth Rogen, Cranston portrays the far-out-there CEO of Continental Studios. In April, Variety reported that Madonna would make a cameo in the comedy, which will riff on her attempt to make a biopic about her life (the movie was scrapped and was supposed to star Emmy-winning actor Julia Garner; Madonna was going to direct)."I do something in front of Madonna in a truth-or-dare test, and it's a dare, and I do something that will either raise my street cred very high or destroy my career," Cranston told Access Hollywood. "It is one of the two, but I guarantee you, you will utter to yourself, 'Oh, my God,'" Cranston said. "You will not believe [what happens]."Madonna and Garner are set to appear in two episodes of the season. Upfronts on Wednesday to share new details about when the next shift of the medical drama will take place.“It’s set in early November, just before the holidays,” Wyle confirmed, noting that production is expected to begin soon. The Emmy winner also hinted that the upcoming season will usher in “a whole new set of emergencies and confrontations and complications."Wyle previously told USA Today that Season 3 will be set “pre-Thanksgiving, moving into colder weather.”“The holidays are approaching. The weather’s changing. People are turning on their heaters for the first time,” he said. “It will be explosive.”While HBO Max has not yet announced a premiere date for Season 3, executive producer John Wells previously told Deadline that the series is expected to return next year around the same week in January with another 15 episodes.Read more at Deadline.'The Pitt' Star Reveals Why She Had To ‘Take A Step Away’ After Sudden Exit From The Show"The Pitt” star Supriya Ganesh is finally opening up about the casting shake-up that left the medical drama’s fandom reeling this season.Ahead of the Season 2 finale last month, it was announced that Ganesh — who plays senior resident Dr. Samira Mohan — would not be returning for the show’s upcoming third season. The news quickly sparked backlash on social media, with devastated viewers accusing the HBO Max series of ousting yet another woman of color from the cast.Until now, Ganesh had remained largely silent about her sudden departure from “The Pitt.” But during a recent interview with Variety at the Gold Gala red carpet over the weekend, she described fans’ intense response to her exit as “so surreal.”“The day that news broke, I saw my name was trending on Twitter, and I was like, ‘Gotta put the phone down and go outside,’” the actor said, adding that she tried to “take a step away” from the chaos surrounding the news.“I haven’t really been keeping track of [the online discourse], to be honest,” she noted. The “Pitt” star has, however, received a lot of “sweet, lovely messages from people” about her work on the award-winning drama.“I’ve honestly just been surprised at how much people love the character and saw so much of themselves in her,” she continued, “and that’s what I’m going to miss.”Read more at Variety.Margaret Cho Says She Turned Down Hit HBO Show Over Fear Of ICE DetainmentOn a recent episode of the “I Never Liked You” podcast, Margaret Cho revealed that she passed on a chance to appear in one of HBO’s buzziest shows at the moment, “Heated Rivalry.” According to Cho, her criticism of the Trump administration and fears surrounding its immigration crackdown is what ultimately led her to walk away from the role."Last year, I got a pilot script for a show that I really loved,” Cho shared on the podcast, “but it shot in Canada, and I was so scared because I’m so vocal about hating ICE and hating this administration.”She added, "I was like, I will get detained at the border and I will be put in ICE detention if I go."The comedy icon noted that she was “struggling” over the decision for a while and went to several people for advice before deciding to turn down the project.“I was super upset,” she said. “And it kills me because it’s all because of Trump.”Read more at Entertainment Weekly. This Netflix Show Is The Most-Watched Series So Far In 2026Netflix's "His & Hers," starring Tessa Thompson and Jon Bernthal, is the most-watched TV series of 2026, according to Nielsen. It averaged 25.6 million viewers in 35 days of streaming.Taylor Sheridan's "Yellowstone" nabbed the No. 2 spot with 25.24 million viewers. But Parker also revealed a tactic that she didn't love in the first season of the HBO series. In Season 1, the characters often directly addressed the camera in short monologues.“[It was] very hard for me,” she said. “And I think in particular the talking to the camera for me felt really problematic because I think, as I said at the time, it’s extremely hard to do well.”Davis also said the direct-to-camera moments were "stressful.""It was very strange because you had to take yourself out of the scene and talk to a mystery person in the camera, but yet you were talking to yourself," Davis said.Eventually, Parker took her concerns to executive producer Michael Patrick King.“So I think my argument at the time was, ‘I think it’s hurting what you’re really trying to do, which is the thing that matters most to you,’ ” Parker said. “‘And I don’t think I’m doing it well, which is also problematic, and it’s not gonna be good. I think it’s gonna hurt the show.’ ”The characters stopped breaking the fourth wall early on in the series.Read more on People.See All Updates
