The Cape Cultural Collective (CCC) hosted its annual fundraiser, Darling Buds of May, on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at a private residence in Wynberg.
A range of skilled entertainers came together for the event, which kept the chill away and raised upwards of R50,000, all of which goes to supporting the organisation's ongoing efforts.
Zenariah Barends, Chairperson of the CCC Board of Directors, welcomed guests with an inspiring speech.
"We are here not just to share in an evening of incredible music and performance, but to celebrate a vision of social cohesion and development through the arts that has been at the heart of the Cape Cultural Collective for almost two decades,” Barends said.
