Former Atos subsidiary Bull has delivered the second contracted high-performance computing (HPC) system to aircraft manufacturer Airbus.

The supercomputer has been delivered to Hamburg, Germany, and is housed in a modular data center. It joins another that was delivered by Bull to Airbus in 2025, which is based in Toulouse, France.

Bull and Airbus have a multi-year supercomputing contract under which Bull supplies compute capacity to the company. This second supercomputer marks the completion of the project.

Through the delivery of these two supercomputers, Bull has tripled Airbus' simulation capacity, which will enable its engineers to improve existing products and design the next generation of aerospace solutions, including the actual aircraft, acoustics simulation workloads, and structural stress analyses.
