Moving beyond Pap tests is necessary before offering HPV self-collection

WASHINGTON — Cervical cancer screening rates are down in recent years, but the rising acceptance of self-collection testing could improve adherence, a presenter here said.According to the American Cancer Society (ACS), screening rates decreased during the COVID-19 pandemic “and still haven’t rebounded, which unfortunately is a continuation of a declining pattern for the past 20
