The Samsung F6000 is a 40-inch 1080P smart TV marketed as an alternative to larger, higher-priced Samsung TVs, such as the 4K Crystal and QLED lines. However, it still uses Tizen, the same operating system used by all of Samsung’s current lineup. So, apps, display layouts, and navigation menus remain similar to those of more expensive Samsung TVs. It makes for a great secondary display in smaller rooms, especially for those already used to how Samsung TVs work.

A crisp, crystal clear TV perfect for the living room
Most buyers are primarily interested in resolution as their primary spec. However, with a 40-inch screen, there’s little difference in perceived quality between 1080p and 4K. This TV has sufficient pixel density, so if you sit at an average viewing distance in a typical bedroom or kitchen, you won’t see individual pixels or get a screen door effect. Basically, the loss in resolution is worth the extra savings.
Streaming applications are natively supported by Tizen OS, so there’s no need to connect an additional streaming device to the back of your television. You get access to hundreds of completely free channels as part of Samsung Plus, which include live news networks, classic TV shows, movie channels, and many others. You also don’t have to learn a completely different OS if you’re already used to Tizen, since this TV’s interface is very similar to Samsung’s other models.
