A hint of summer is on the way.Image: Juho Kuva / Visit FinlandYle News15:09Finland experienced its first balmy weather of the year on Tuesday in the southeast of the country.Meteorologists recorded the first 'hot' day of the year, after temperatures rose above the 25-degree-Celsius threshold at the Koivuniemi measuring station in Virolahti at 11.50am, reaching 25.1 degrees.Yle meteorologist Aleksi Lohtander, however, said the warmth is likely to remain a localised phenomenon."In Virolahti and the Lappeenranta region temperatures may still climb a bit further, but broadly speaking heatwave readings are not expected on Tuesday," he said.Warmer conditions may spread to parts of North Karelia and Kainuu on Wednesday, before easing again in the east on Thursday."There will be a cooling of a couple of degrees, but elsewhere temperatures are unlikely to reach 25 degrees now."
