Image: Jussi Mankkinen / YleYle News7:41A high pressure system will move over Finland on Thursday, bringing sunshine and warmer temperatures to many parts of the country into Friday and the weekend.Temperatures on Thursday will range from 20 degrees Celsius in the south to 15 degrees in Finnish Lapland.Thursday night will be chilly, with temperatures likely to drop below freezing in the north.Friday will be cloudy across much of Finland, but temperatures in southern and central areas will remain above 20 degrees Celsius, climbing as high as 23 degrees in the southwest.Northern regions will be colder, with highs of 14 degrees, and rain showers are expected throughout the day.The outlook for the weekend suggests more of the same, with temperatures on Saturday ranging between 20 and 23 degrees Celsius in the south while hovering around 15 degrees in Finnish Lapland.The forecast for Thursday and Friday.
