MISA says its new digital channel will ensure workers are not left behind as the motor industry undergoes rapid change.

The Motor Industry Staff Association (MISA) announced on Tuesday that it has officially launched MISA TV, a new digital platform aimed at educating, informing and empowering workers across South Africa’s motor industry.

The channel will officially go live on 19 May 2026 at 19:00 and will stream on Facebook and YouTube, offering workers access to industry information, financial guidance and workplace support.

According to MISA, the platform has been designed to provide workers in the motor industry with practical and accessible knowledge as the industry continues to evolve.

The first episode features an interview with Adam Esat, Principal Officer of the Motor Industry Retirement Fund, who discusses the two pot retirement system, retirement claims processes and the role the fund plays in protecting workers’ retirement contributions.
