SWISS International Airlines has introduced nonstop flights between Zurich and Bengaluru. These flights will start in October of this year and operate five days a week.It bypasses layover stops in European cities like Frankfurt and Munich or a partner codeshare flight in the Middle East. This comes after the airline introduced twice daily flights from Delhi to Zurich in March and now looks to expand its network into Southern India.Market MaturityAccording to Kevin Markette, Lufthansa Group Senior Director – Regional Sales South Asia, “India remains a strategically important market for the Lufthansa Group, and we are delighted to welcome Swiss International Air Lines to Bengaluru – one of the world’s leading technology and innovation hubs.
