MANILA, Philippines — More than 900 gas stations across the country can now provide a P10-per-liter fuel subsidy to qualified public utility jeepney and UV Express drivers, the Department of Energy (DOE) said Tuesday.

In a statement, the agency said the fuel subsidy program for jeepney and UV Express drivers has been expanded nationwide, giving up to P1,500 per vehicle per week of discounts for three months.

This developed as the country continues to be affected by the Middle East war, which has led to high oil prices.
