On Monday, May 18, Iranian media outlets claimed that cargo planes carrying U.S. military aid had arrived in Israel amidst ongoing tensions involving Iran, the United States, and Israel.

The Khabar Fori channel and the Ham-Mihan newspaper, citing Israel’s Channel 13, reported that dozens of aircraft transporting ammunition had been deployed to Israel from U.S. bases in Germany.

According to these reports, the shipment of this hardware was carried out even as U.S. President Donald Trump claims he is still waiting to receive an “updated proposal” from the Islamic Republic in ongoing negotiations.

Iranian media outlets have characterized this arms transfer as a sign of Washington’s continued military backing of Israel and preparation for a potential escalation of hostilities in the region.

Although this specific report has not been independently verified by other media networks, The Washington Post had previously confirmed in its reports that over the past months, and particularly in recent weeks, both before and after the implementation of the ceasefire, the United States had transferred a portion of the military equipment and ammunition required by Israel to the Middle East via its bases and logistical hubs in Europe, including Germany.
