The latest military supply movement comes as Iran unveiled plans to introduce a new maritime passage mechanism in the Strait of Hormuz that would require ships to pay fees before crossing the strategic waterway.
Dozens of United States cargo planes carrying ammunition from military bases in Germany have reportedly landed in Tel Aviv within the past 24 hours, in what Israeli media described as preparations for a possible resumption of hostilities with Iran.
Israel’s Channel 13, cited by Al Jazeera and other international outlets, reported that the aircraft delivered military supplies and ammunition as tensions continue to rise over Iran’s nuclear programme and growing regional instability.
The broadcaster said the shipments were linked to Israeli preparations for renewed confrontation with Tehran.
