The national weather agency says high pressure is then “expected to bring a good deal of fair, warm weather” for the extended weekend.‌The GFS weather model suggests temperatures could hit 27C in the south-east on bank holiday Monday, with highs of 26C on the cards as far north as Yorkshire.
