The 2nd-gen Ray-Ban Meta glasses feel more like a refinement than a complete redesign, but the upgrades are meaningful in day-to-day use. The newer model can last up to eight hours on a charge, roughly double what earlier versions offered, making them much more practical for all-day use. Video quality also gets a bump, moving up to sharper 3K recording while retaining the hands-free camera experience. Audio sees improvements too, with louder speakers, fuller sound, and clearer voice pickup thanks to an upgraded microphone setup. Meta AI also feels more integrated and useful now, handling tasks like translations, visual recognition, and contextual assistance in a more natural way.
