Karuppu box office collection day 3: Suriya's much-awaited film Karuppu finally hit theatres on May 15 and has largely lived up to the massive hype surrounding it. Videos circulating online show fans erupting in celebration inside cinema halls, cheering, dancing and jumping during key moments of the film. The overwhelming response from audiences has also reflected strongly at the box office, with the film raking in over ₹60 crore within just three days of its release. This brings the total India gross collections to ₹78.75 crore and the total India net to ₹68.00 crore so far.On Sunday, Karuppu collected ₹24.20 crore from Tamil shows and an additional ₹4.15 crore from its Telugu shows.
