Powerful explosions were heard in Dnipro during an air raid alert as Russian forces launched a missile strike on the city.
According to Ukrinform, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Hanzha reported this on Telegram.
“Russians struck Dnipro with missiles. Preliminary reports indicate hits in a residential district,” he wrote.
Hanzha added that several fires broke out as a result of the attack.
“People are trapped inside one of the buildings. Emergency services are already providing assistance,” the official noted.
