According to the governor, one teacher identified as an Islamic studies instructor was killed during the attack, while security agencies have arrested at least six suspects within the locality and three other persons of interest as investigations continue.
He said the attackers were believed to be part of armed groups fleeing intensified military operations against terrorists and bandits in Nigeria’s North-West region.
