Next month, voters will get to cast their vote in the highly contested race to succeed veteran Democrat Jerry Nadler in the 12th Congressional District, which spans both the Upper East Side and the Upper West Side. While the field is rife with candidates known in the political scene, such as state legislators Micah Lasher and Alex Bores, as well as prominent Trump critic George Conway, it’s the first-time bid of Kennedy scion Jack Schlossberg that has caught the eyes of many, and he has ridden the wave of high name ID to the front of several polls in the race.
