Despite the ongoing war in Lebanon and the difficult circumstances facing the country, Lebanese athletes continue to prove that determination and resilience can overcome even the harshest challenges. From the international stage in Perugia, Italy, young Lebanese champion Yuri Nassif delivered a remarkable performance, proudly raising the Lebanese flag twice in less than 24 hours at one of Europe’s largest martial arts gatherings.

Yuri Nassif emerged victorious in his inaugural fight in the Under-17 division, securing the coveted golden belt in SANDA Chinese Kickboxing after defeating his Italian opponent. He then continued his impressive run by winning another gold medal in the prestigious Tui Shou competition, representing Lebanon in a strong showdown against Ukraine during the 22nd World Championship & Cup C.K.A.-CSEN and the 15th Tai-Chi Therapy Tournament.
