MANILA, Philippines — A juvenile Philippine Eagle was spotted in the Panigan-Tamugan Subwatershed in Davao City during a habitat assessment conducted from May 5 to May 8.

The assessment team was composed of personnel from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources-CENRO Davao City, biologists from the Philippine Eagle Foundation (PEF), the Public Safety and Security Office, and members of the Obu-Manuvu Indigenous Peoples community of Tambobong.

The eagle was seen perched within the dense forests of the subwatershed and was observed within the monitoring site throughout the activity.FEATURED STORIES
