After spending nine months in a kidnapper’s den, a businessman, Emmanuel Nyamson, tells AYOOLA OLASUPO how he was abducted, his experiences, the demand for N100m ransom, and how he eventually escaped
Could you tell us about yourself?
I’m from Kaduna State, and I was born in 1968. I’m also a businessman.
Can you recall how you got kidnapped?
I am into construction, too. I have a friend who is close to me. He’s retired now. He gave me a contract to remodel the soldiers’ houses at the Army barracks in Kontagora, Niger State.
