An Al Jazeera correspondent, citing “officials in Tehran,” reported that the United States has officially responded to Iran’s conditions for returning to nuclear negotiations and rejected all of them. According to the report, Iran’s negotiating team had set five main conditions before any talks on the nuclear issue could begin:

An end to the war on all fronts.

The complete lifting of sanctions.

The release of Iran’s frozen assets.

Compensation for damages and losses resulting from the war.
