Trump and Xi begin Day Two of talks in Beijing, stress ‘constructive stability” in US-China relationship | CNN
President Donald Trump held a second day of high-stakes talks focusing on business with Xi Jinping at Beijing’s Zhongnanhai compound, chosen by Xi to reciprocate Trump’s 2017 Mar-a-Lago hospitality. Trump praised their “very strong” relationship, said the two “feel very similar” on Iran, and want the conflict ended, the Strait of Hormuz open, and Tehran blocked from nuclear weapons. The leaders held intensive talks with small teams of top aides ahead of Xi’s planned Washington visit later this year. CNN’s Steven Jiang has more.
