United Democratic Front (UDF) convener Adoor Prakash said on Friday that the UDF leadership meeting held in Thiruvananthapuram was only a “formal” gathering. The meeting did not arrive at any final decisions regarding ministerial berths. Key decisions regarding the new government, including Cabinet formation and portfolio allocation, would be finalised at another meeting scheduled for Saturday, he added.Addressing the media after the UDF leadership meeting, Mr. Prakash said preparations are progressing for the swearing-in ceremony to be held on Monday.
