In a statement issued by the Media Information Officer of Operation HADIN KAI, Lieutenant Colonel Sani Uba, the military said the operations were conducted under Operation DESERT SANITY in different parts of the theatre.
The Nigerian Army says troops of the Joint Task Force (North East), Operation HADIN KAI, have rescued several abducted civilians, neutralised suspected Boko Haram/ISWAP fighters, and arrested alleged collaborators during ongoing operations across the North-East.
In a statement issued by the Media Information Officer of Operation HADIN KAI, Lieutenant Colonel Sani Uba, the military said the operations were conducted under Operation DESERT SANITY in different parts of the theatre.
According to the statement, troops acting on credible intelligence carried out a clearance operation on May 14, 2026, along the Amuda–Gava corridor in the Mandara Mountains axis, targeting suspected terrorist movement routes.
During the operation, six abducted civilians, women and children, were rescued from captivity.
