AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami on Friday called upon the TVK government to reduce the rate of sales tax levied on petrol, diesel and domestic gas cylinders. In a post, Mr Palaniswami pointed out that the present regime claimed itself as “one that stands for change.” He also appealed to the Union government for lowering the prices of the fuel.
