The Udupi District police have externed Bharath Jayaram Das, 34, to Bengaluru. He is an accused in cricket betting cases.In a press note, Superintendent of Police Hariram Shankar said he exercised his powers as the Special Executive Magistrate to issue an order on Thursday, May 14, to extern Das to Kengeri Police Station limits in the Bengaluru Police Commissionerate.Mr. Shankar said Das, a resident of Varamballi village in Brahmavar taluk, Udupi district, was accused in three cases of cricket betting.
