The deals include a 500MW PPA in Oklahoma, a 200MW PPA in Texas, and a 150MW PPA in Mississippi. The exact details of the projects and their operational status were not shared. DCD has reached out for further information.

The deal builds on previous renewable supply agreements between the two companies, with the latest PPAs bringing the total contracted volume to more than 2.5GW. These include a 150MW deal in Texas, a 300MW deal in Utah, a 100MW deal in New Mexico, and a 200MW PPA in Arkansas. Desri said that it expects 1.1GW of the contracted projects to begin construction this year.

"Our energy infrastructure partnership with Meta now spans nine states and more than two and a half gigawatts across the country," said Hy Martin, chief development officer of Desri. "These projects support Meta's energy commitments, and they will generate significant economic development for local rural economies across the country. Our relationship with large companies like Meta is a cornerstone of Desri's long-term strategy of delivering cost-effective, reliable energy projects to power the US economy's growth."
