CEBU CITY, Philippines — The Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 76 in Naga City has issued an ex-parte Temporary Environmental Protection Order (TEPO) against JOMARA Konstruckt and JOMARA Agri Foods.
The court directed the companies to immediately cease and desist from quarrying activities in Barangay Guindarohan, Minglanilla, Cebu.
The court action follows mounting concerns from residents over cracks that have formed on the ground in the area, raising risks of landslide and endangering families in Sitio Napo.
