Ranbir Kapoor is gearing up for the release of 'Ramayana' and last month, the first look of the actor as Lord Ram was unveiled by the makers.
Ahead of the release of 'Ramayana: Part 1' in cinemas this Diwali, Ranbir has now plot a land in Ayodhya.
Earlier, Amitabh Bachchan has also purchased several lands in Ayodhya, near Ram Janmbhoomi.The deal, worth nearly Rs 3.31 crore, covers a 2,134-square-foot plot, a 75-acre riverside project located along the Sarayu river.
Talking about this development, Ranbir said in a statement, "I believe Ayodhya has chosen me, and I have just answered this calling.""Ayodhya is deep rooted in our history and is a critical part of our cultural fabric.
This land became my gateway to ensuring this becomes a part of my legacy for my family." he added.Ayodhya has witnessed a massive surge in tourism and pilgrim footfall in recent years.
