Jinko ESS has officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Shanghai Electric Power Electronics (SEPE), under which the two parties will engage in broad-based collaboration across domestic and international energy storage project development and PV-storage integration technology innovation. Leveraging their respective strengths in power electronics and full-stack in-house developed energy storage systems, the parties aim to accelerate the large-scale deployment of energy storage solutions, contributing to the development of a new power system and the realization of China’s “dual carbon” goals.
SEPE General Manager Jinliang Zhao commented: “The development of a new power system relies on the deep integration of advanced power electronics equipment and highly reliable energy storage systems. SEPE has long been committed to the core technologies of power electronics, with extensive expertise and proven application experience in areas such as power converters, energy storage converters, and power quality management. Jinko ESS demonstrates strong capabilities in full-stack in-house developed energy storage systems, liquid-cooled solutions and global project delivery. The two parties are highly complementary and share a strong strategic alignment. We look forward to taking this strategic cooperation as a starting point to strengthen collaboration in PV-storage integration, source-grid-load-storage integration, joint R&D of key equipment and prioritized procurement. Together, we aim to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective energy storage solutions, contributing to China’s energy transition and the development of a new power system.”
