"No hard feelings," Rama told Euractiv after Meloni thanked him for recommitting to migration deal

Edi Rama, the Albanian prime minister, has backed down after accusing Euractiv of publishing a misleading interview with his foreign minister about the future of a controversial Italian-Albanian migration deal.

On Wednesday Rama tweeted: “It is crystal clear that the reduced quote was misleading enough for anyone with a vested ideological interest to run with it.”

His comment on X, which linked directly to Euractiv‘s morning newsletter Rapporteur, was a marked difference to previous remarks, in which he suggested the reporting itself was at fault with a “misleading quote reported by a media outlet”.
