May 14 (UPI) -- Police in Pennsylvania are searching for the owner of an apparent escaped pet parrot spotted flying on the loose in Hatfield.
The Hatfield Police Department issued an alert with photos of the parrot seen perched in a tree in the area of Bergey Road and Cowpath Road.
Police attempts to capture the parrot were unsuccessful.
"Attempts at capturing him/her were unsuccessful, so if he/she is yours, or you know who owns him/her, we're pretty sure that they are still hanging around the area," police said. "They were last seen atop a tree calling out loudly."
