Jan. 20 (UPI) -- An escaped pet parakeet was reunited with her owner after making a stop in an Ontario kindergarten classroom and landing on a little girl's head.
St. Noel Chabanel Catholic School in Wasaga Beach said on social media that the female parakeet found her way into a kindergarten classroom and landed on one girl's head twice before being contained by the teacher.
The parakeet was taken to the school's office, where she was given a temporary home while officials attempted to find her owners.
