United Nations Special Rapporteur for the Palestinian Territories Francesca Albanese said Thursday that a court in the District of Columbia, Washington, has suspended the stiff sanctions imposed on her by US President Donald Trump's administration.
"US court has suspended the US sanctions against me!," the Italian academic, who has been accused of being biased against Israel, said via X.
"As the judge says: 'Protecting the Freedom of speech is always just the public interest'.
"Thanks to my daughter and my husband for stepping up to defend me, and everyone who has helped so far.
"Together we are One".
