President Donald Trump indicated the economy will be a major focus of the State of the Union next week as he offered a preview of his speech during a rally in Georgia on Thursday.
Trump said he plans to make the traditional address to the nation from Congress on Tuesday despite the partial government shutdown, telling attendees “I hope you’re going to watch” his remarks, in which he plans to discuss his efforts to curb rising costs.
