Conservative attorney George Conway has drawn a stark historical comparison to Donald Trump’s recent late-night meltdowns on his Truth Social platform.
“This is like the movie ‘Downfall,’” Conway said on Molly Jong-Fast’s “Fast Politics” podcast, referring to the widely memed, largely accurate film depicting the final days of Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler in his bunker.

“This is what happens when a narcissistic sociopath is cornered,” Conway said of Trump, adding: “They become more desperate, more delusional and more dangerous.”
Conway, who has filed to run as a Democratic candidate for the House seat of departing Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.), warned that Trump’s behavior is only likely to escalate:
