Across the media, his opponents are having a field day. Many have asserted that it's "time to put grandpa up" in a nursing home. Beyond legitimate questions about the president's health state, it mostly feels as if we are reaching the end of an era: Cole Allen's April 25 assassination attempt against the president likely marks the end of a decade of messianic propaganda.
