The Indira Gandhi Government General Hospital and Postgraduate Institute observed International Nurses Day on Tuesday with a lamp-lit pledge as a tribute to Florence Nightingale.

This year, the International Council of Nurses (ICN) chose the theme, ‘Our Nurses. Our Future. Empowered Nurses Save Lives’. Dr. S. Sevvel, Director (Health), Dr. J. Ramesh, Medical Superintendent and staff nurses participated.
